Trailer Insurance
Stoneways trailer insurance scheme will cover horsebox trailers as well as many other types of trailer,
however one trailer that we are not able to cover is the advertising hoarding type. It is a requirement
under the trailer insurance that you have an approved security device. We require that a copy of the
trailer purchase receipt is submitted with your insurance application showing details of the trailer
serial number and type of security device.
The cover provided is for theft, accidental damage and fire and is subject to an excess of 10% of the
insured amount subject to a minimum of £100 and a maximum of £200.
Cover is available for hire trailers and your insurance can also be extended to include travel to Europe
